Let us tell you, Vikram Batra was martyred in Kargil on 7 July 1999. When he was martyred, he was only 24 years old. At such a young age, Vikram Batra dedicated his life to the country and for this sacrifice, he was posthumously awarded India’s highest bravery award, Param Vir Chakra.
